Hi there i have tried installing the
Adobe PDF iFilter 9 for 64-bit platforms on my x64 OS
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4025
But i can’t just get it to work
Any ideas

Patrick, it worked for me. I know there is one minor typo in the Adobe documentation, and you might find these links helpful:
